Waltham Curling Club will be hosting two Open House sessions. Watch curling during the 2018 Olympics and then come out to Waltham to try it yourself.
Friday's session is FREE and open to the public. You will receive instruction from experienced curlers with a chance to try throwing some stones. Availability is on a first-come, first-serve basis and the amount of ice time will be dependent on the number of people in attendance. We will attempt to give everyone instruction and ice time but it may be very limited based on demand.
Saturday's sessions are by reservation and are $5 per person for a 45-minute session. Each 45-minute session is limited to 24 people. Advance payment is required. You will receive instruction from experienced curlers and will have 45 minutes to learn, practice and play. New sessions will begin at the top of each hour. To reserve your spot, see the menu above, click on Events -> Event Registrations and select your desired session (pending availability).
Attendees should be at least 8 years old. Please bring a separate pair of CLEAN rubber soled shoes with you. Shoes worn on the ice field must be clean and free of rocks, pebbles, mud, dirt, ice melt and other debris. You should wear layered, loose-fitting clothing. You will be required to sign a liability waiver. You may find the waiver HERE. You may print the waiver and bring it with you or sign a waiver at the club.
